SAFETY FIRST WITH AMBIOTEX:
Employers are obliged by law to protect their employees from health hazards and occupational accidents. Special protections and safety regulations apply to emergency and rescue services to minimize physical and mental stress on the job, particularly for employees doing hazardous work, such as laying and maintaining power lines or installing wind turbines.
Bus and tram drivers, crane operators and air traffic controllers also need a safe and accident-free working environment to prevent physical and mental stress and possible damage to the general public.
In 2019 ambiotex was nominated for the DEKRA-Award as one of the best startups in Germany.
ambiotex GmbH has successfully secured funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) via the State of Brandenburg in 2019 to further develop the smart shirt’s functionalities to improve occupational safety and prevent workplace accidents and premature incapacity for work.
As part of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) ambiotex can increase the safety of employees at work and protect their health. Thanks to state-of-the-art sensor technology and intelligent algorithms stress situations are immediately detected. The users themselves or team and task managers can immediately take corrective action.
Due to the high measurement accuracy of even individual movement data, it will soon be possible to detect even “wrong” movement patterns and postures via the ambiotex smartshirt. Thus, preventive measures can be taken before chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system occur.
But ambiotex does not only sensitize its user for stressful situations and their daily form, but can even save lives in acute emergency situations. For example ambiotex also detects emergencies (danger and dead man’s warning) or the app enables to determine the user’s position with a high accuracy.
• Physical strain before and during a work assignment
• Personal stress level / stressful situations
• Emergencies (hazard warning, dead man’s warning, position determination)
